RECYCLING RINSE PURIFIER

[Model RP475-C] Greco Brothers Recycling Rinse Purifiers convert any rinse tank into a closed-loop, deionized water rinse station.

These systems purify and recirculate rinse water following an aqueous cleaning or plating operation; improving water quality and eliminating the expense of continuously discharging the water to drain.

The Rinse Purifier’s design includes particle filtration, carbon adsorption, and ion exchange technologies. This combination cleans the water by removing particulate contamination, organic detergents, oils, and minerals.

Because each of the high-capacity media housings is capable of accepting either carbon or ion-exchange resin, different combinations can be employed to achieve the desired water quality for nearly any rinsing operation.

WHY RECIRCULATE?

[Design Diagram]

Tap water rinsing is sometimes acceptable for non-critical cleaning operations, but the cost of continuously sending water to drain is often unacceptable. Additionally, local environmental regulations related to the minimum quality of discharged water, may make continuous draining without treatment unfeasible. By removing both organic and inorganic contaminants from the water, Rinse Purifiers eliminate the need for continuous draining and provide high purity water for your final rinse. Rinse Purifiers can be connected to any of our two or three compartment rinse tanks, or to nearly any existing rinse tank.

These systems can produce water quality in excess of 10 meg-ohms/sq. cm when configured with one carbon cartridge in combination with up to three ion-exchange cartridges. Depending on the application, cation, anion and/or mixed bed ion-exchange resins may be utilized.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

[Model RP520-S]

STANDARD & CUSTOM SYSTEMS

All Greco Brothers Rinse Purifiers include pump, pre-filter, media housings, post-filter, purity light, control valve, and flow meter.

The size and configuration of the Rinse Purifier required for your rinse station will depend on the specific conditions of your application.

Treatment media is pre-packaged in cartridges or sacks. Both packaging systems eliminate the need to contend with loose granules of carbon or resin, and both are designed to make media replacement fast, simple, and mess-free.

The Model RP475-C can be built into a stainless steel enclosure or mounted on an open rolling cart. Models RP310-S, RP415-S, and RP520-S are built on an aluminum or stainless steel open frame.

Please contact our sales engineers for assistance. They will be pleased to determine which water purification system best meets your specific requirements.

DEIONIZED WATER RINSE SYSTEMS

RECYCLE IT

Designed as the final rinse in your cleaning or plating process, the Greco Brothers Deionized Water Rinse System deionizes, filters and recirculates water through an immersion rinse station. By recirculating the freshly deionized water, rather than sending it to drain, we ensure that our twin-bed, high capacity resin cartridge will last much longer than an equivalent resin in a single-pass rinse station. When the cartridge needs to be changed, the green indicator light will turn red. Note that this system is not designed to remove soap or detergent from water. For processes where pre-rinsing is not present, see our Rinse Purifiers.

In addition to removing minerals, the Greco Brothers Deionized Water Rinse System skims contaminants from the surface and traps them in an in-line filter. To remove organics, simply replace the 10" fiber-wound filter cartridge with a carbon cartridge.

Best of all, operation is simple: just fill with tap water and flip the switch.

What a Deionized Rinse System Won't Do: Deionized water rinse systems are designed to remove minerals from tap water to provide a high-quality final rinse station following tap water rinses in a cleaning or plating operation. It is not designed to remove soap or organic contamination. For purifying and recirculating rinse water in rinse stations, which directly follow cleaning tanks, see information related to our Recycling Rinse Purifier.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

Multiple Compartments: Multiple compartments provide a cleaner final rinse. Additional workstations are added to the system, creating a two or three compartment counterflow rinse. The deionized water flows in the opposite direction of the work flow, isolating the contaminants in the first compartment where they are skimmed from the surface and filtered.

Heat- A thermostatically controlled, stainless steel immersion heater with low liquid protection maintains the water temperature at 120 deg F. Parts rinse more thoroughly and dry faster. When ordering add "-H" to the model number.

Auto-fill Water Make-up - Water in the pump reservoir is automatically maintained at the proper level with a proportional float valve. When ordering add "-AF" to the model number.
