Greco Conveyor Dryers (aka "Tunnel Dryers"), are generally appropriate for continuous-process, high-volume applications, or for any process where parts move through the
cleaning system on a roller-conveyor. They are custom-designed around the drying requirements for each application and can be configured with a manually-operated roller
conveyor, a variable-speed power conveyor, or a variable-speed mesh belt. They can also be supplied without any conveyor mechanism and be designed to accept your
existing conveyor.
Preheat and cooling tunnels are installed at the entrance and exit of the heated chamber to help minimize heat loss. Systems with powered
conveyors include flexible strip curtains on the entrance and exit tunnels, while those with manually-operated conveyors are available with pneumatically-powered
guillotine doors.
These tunnel dryers feature vertical air flow, with air entering at the top of the drying chamber, flowing downward
through the conveyor, and exiting the heated chamber through the filter below. As with all Greco dryers, after exiting the chamber, the air
is reheated within the duct and reintroduced at the top of the chamber, reducing operating cost and minimizing any affect on room temperature.
The foam-insulated, double-wall heavy-duty stainless-steel construction ensures quick heat up time and long equipment life.
